Happy Friday all! I’m in a bit of a rush so I’ll just get into it… but before that

Down a little on last weeks but still very high — and with the App not closing again this means that support are on top of the numbers. An additional 300 reviews from last week is quite a jump — conservative estimate — 10,000 new users. I’ll risk looking an idiot and say that I think we’ll see the 500,000th download of the App this month. T minus 23 days and counting (in Dr No. voice).

As well as an explanation of the nuts and bolts of connecting to payment processors. Also in there are the 2 business models — App and Protocol and how each earn money. Spoiler: it’s not selling RSR on Huobi. Reserve is essentially a marketplace between payment processors and users who want Bolivars (or Pesos etc) or USD which is super easy to use. I’ll add a bit on this later in adoption.

I like to feature businesses accepting Reserve — these are the building blocks of the network effect as they are mini hubs. I also like the ecosystem of help.

Just a quick note on this — so the App is super easy to use, which is great. But WHY is it great. Remember Ari Paul saying that swapping from one app to another and the other app had a bit more ‘stuff’ to do and wasn’t so easy (Twitter)? Well after Zuckerbergs rugpull, how many left WhatsApp for Signal? Trillions? Nope. Which is why it’s really important Reserve is easy, because it has first mover advantage and will be sticky (management **** word sorry). There, point made.
