What are the Akashic Records?

There are stories that exist beyond our physical reality. These stories are contained in an infinite universal library, much like the cloud, with information about every life form that ever existed on earth or other planets, including details about the past, present, and future. They record every thought we’ve ever had, and every choice we’ve made or will make. These stories are stored in an invisible library known as the Akashic Records.

Every energy and vibration is recorded in the Akashic Records.

Akasha means “sky” or “space,” and it’s where all of this information is kept. Humans cannot hold akasha, much like we cannot hold the cloud, but we can access the information within it.

Alfred Percy Sinnet, in 1883, explored the Akashic Records from a Buddhist perspective, the idea of “akasa,” which is the source from which everything has come.

H.P. Blavatsky, who lived from 1831 through 1891, introduced the Sanskrit term akasha and defined it as a type of life force, also calling it “indestructible tablets of the astral light.”

However, some people firmly believe that the Akashic Records were referred to in the Bible as The Book of Life.

Though others in time had written about the topic, two men brought the knowledge of the Akashic Records into popular public view: Rudolf Steiner and Edgar Cayce.

Steiner was an esoteric Buddhist scholar born in 1861 in Austria. Cayce was a psychic born in 1877 in Kentucky. Both Steiner and Cayce realized the immense importance of this knowledge, though for different reasons.
