Telematics to help Vehicle owners in Abidjan

Interestingly, there is one particular colour (orange) that can go everywhere, and this is popularly known as ‘Le Taxi Compteur’ which charges fairly high prices.

I think of this and look at how in Telematics systems, the use of Geofencing features is used to create digital borders on specified maps.

With Geofencing, even owners of the ‘taxi compteurs’ can monitor various suburbs their vehicles may enter, set specific notifications for entry/exit, and even set restricted or danger zones on the map to protect the driver and their asset.

It feels satisfying and fascinating to see how it works.
